Shortcuts to Success - What is a Life Coach?

     Listen here.

What is a life coach and why should you even care?

A personal life coach is someone that has thoroughly studied and understands how you do what you do, that makes you get (or not get) the results you want in life and in business.

A professional life coach has a huge resource of personal development systems and methods and ideas.   This wealth of specialized skill and knowledge is used to train, direct and instruct you in ways that help you to achieve a goal or to develop some specific skill, such as feeling comfortable speaking in public, achieving a job promotion, achieving your ideal weight, balancing work and life in a busy family, or even helping you build up your self confidence and self image so that you are more comfortable and productive at home or at work.

That knowledge and expertise is backed up with kind and caring, yet firm and intelligent support and direction and feedback on an ongoing basis until you feel that you have achieved the results you want.

Why use the support of personal life coaching?  Many people feel that they should be able to do this alone.

BUT you don’t always get specifically what you need or want from friends, family, mangers, employers or significant others.   And we all need help and support!!

Your support structure people know you and care about you, but some things are just beyond their expertise.  That is why we use the services of a doctor, car mechanic, seamstress, gardener, massage therapist, an instructor or an athletic trainer.  You know how to give an aspirin or cough syrup, change oil, sew on a button, plant a flower, give a backrub, and pour over written training material or do jumping jacks.

But lots of times we want and need to take it to a higher level.  The knowledge we or our normal circle of support have just isn’t getting us what we want.

You’ve heard the old adage - if you keep on doing what you are doing and expect a different result that is the definition of insanity.

Now, you can get off that highway to insanity and take the Shortcut to Success starting right now with Coach Companion.

So what has stopped you from getting the services of a personal coach to get your goals accomplished up until now? Denise,
I enjoy your podcasts and materials. As a Realtor, it is often easy to loose sight of life balance. Your services are very needed in today’s world!

This topic strongly resonated with me… even those who are coaching and mentoring others, hugely benefit being coached and mentored.
We all need support and guidance…
Jeanne
